The course aims to provide details in an inter-disciplinary synergistic approach to efficient reservoir management with the goal of optimized hydrocarbon recovery and return on investment. The significance of each component and the importance of timing and cost/benefit analysis are emphasized. Reservoir management models for optimum field development and field operating plans are analyzed. This course will also promote the use of advanced petroleum engineering methods and techniques for the monitoring, modeling and management of reservoirs.
