Course Overview
This course provides theoretical and practical skills in joint integrity, focusing on the safe and correct use of hand, hydraulic torque, and tensioning equipment. Participants will gain a full understanding of the theory and best practices for ensuring the integrity of flanges on pipework and vessels in process plants.
Who Should Attend?
Personnel who are required to work on bolted flanges using hand/hydraulic torque and tensioning equipment.
Course Outline
The training is structured to deliver practical and theoretical instruction in line with industry best practice procedures. It aims to provide trainees with the necessary underpinning knowledge to make and break flanged joints using manual, hydraulic torque, and tensioning bolt-up methods.
